Manchester Community Resource Center has a relationship with Easter Seals. One of Easter Seals office locations was used as a mobile tax site and recruited participation from children and families participating in Jolicouer School. In addition EITC information was disseminated to direct service workers for Easter Seals. |

The Moore Center hosted several information sessions for families and adults with disabilities, case managers, and financial benefits counselors. A direct mail was sent out to 900 children and families utilizing early intervention and family support services. 40 case managers participated in training and informational forums about the AATPP project and tax filing information. Tax filers were referred to MCRC for tax filing purposes. |

500 direct mailings were forwarded to employed people with disabilities accessing services from Manchester regional office of Vocational Rehabilitation. This by far was the most effective approach for project recruitment. 2 information sessions and EITC flyers were disseminated to VR counselors. 20 counselors participated in the training/information seminar. |

Tobey Patch-Davies is the Director for the Center for Community Economic Development & Disability at Southern NH University. Her duties include, coordinating the AATPP study and also serves as a member of the Greater Manchester Asset Building Coalition. Tobey was responsible for coordinating information, outreach and training activities to the mental health center, the Moore Center, Vocational Rehabilitation, and coordinating direct mailing activities with area partners. SNHU has acted as an outreach partner to inform individuals about credits and free tax preparation. She helped to coordinator the Ad Hoc tax prep sites at Easter Seals. SNHU also provided a volunteer to be at the MCRC site to act as a liaison to inform taxpayers about the disability initiative and he provided a training session on being sensitive to disability issues to all the VITA volunteers. |

The Manchester Community Resource Center was the main VITA referral site for people with disabilities targeted for outreach. They partnered with Easter Seals to provide free tax preparation as part of the mobile tax sites, prepared returns for people referred from the AATPP study. In addition, MCRC acted as an outreach partner providing flyers to the population regarding the EITC and free tax preparation. This year, MCRC recruited a volunteer with a disability to assist with tax preparation services. In addition, the site was profiled in Equity e-newsletter; a publication disseminated nationally that highlights communities and organizations that include people with disabilities in asset building efforts. |
