Best Practices (this section looks at what worked best for your site)

12. Site Coordination (what made your site run smoothly and efficiently? how were you successful in reaching targeted clientele?)

Help from the local press, word of mouth, clients from years past, the smoothest part is the equipment. If the computers and printers run smoothly, we can do a great job, and this year was perfect. Also, very dependable volunteers.

13. Volunteers (how did you recruit volunteers? what did you do to keep them working at your site?)

We recruit via AARP ads and word of mouth.  They get to choose at what site they want to work.  We have sites in all the surrounding towns, so they choose for their own convenience, although many come to the Nashua Library, because they hear that we are very busy, and they can be most challenged.

14. Media/Marketing (what did you do in the area of media and marketing that increased awareness about your site?)

The local newspaper always comes during the tax season, takes pictures and writes articles about us.  This year the Mayor came for opening day, and of course the press follows him.

15. Outreach (what other types of outreach activities were you involved in to enhance the effectiveness of your site?)

16. Coalition Building (if you have a coalition, what made it successful?)

17. Future (what are your plans for the future [site expansion, asset building, etc.]? what will you do differently in the future?)

Just keep working hard, and we all enjoy what we do.  We can’t expand too much more, without infringing on the library.  We have seven (7) computers in operation at all times.  That seems adequate.
