“Investing For Your Future”
This eleven-unit Learn At Home course is for beginning investors with small dollars to invest at any one time. It assumes that participants are investing for the first time and/or selecting investments products that they have not purchased previously. The cost of the 150 page workbook is $10.00 plus $4.00 for shipping, or it may be picked up at your county Extension office
for $10.00.
“New Hampshire Saves”
Become a New Hampshire Saver! This program is part of a National Campaign to encourage all Americans to save and build wealth, and to reduce their debt. After enrolling you will receive a quarterly newsletter on money management topics. Contact your county Extension office to request a New Hampshire Saves enrollment brochure. Cost: FREE.
“PowerPay Debt Repayment Analysis”
The PowerPay Debt Repayment Program provides a computerized analysis of a consumer's debt and creates a repayment plan to reduce debt load. Contact your county Extension office and request a PowerPay form. Cost: $5.00.
“Getting a GRIP on Your Money”
GRIP is a seven-part newsletter series, mailed to your home on a regular basis after enrollment. Newsletter topics cover setting goals, implementing a financial record keeping system, understanding credit and insurance, and developing and following a spending/savings plan. Subscription cost is $8.95. Call your County office to register.

“Making Money Work for You”
Whether you are a young adult, just starting out on your own, or a family struggling to make it paycheck to paycheck, with expenses and debt increasing, all of us can learn something new about how to more effectively manage our money. This is a five part series, Thursday evenings September 27, October 4, 11,18, & Oct. 25. Series topics will include: goal setting, managing credit wisely and addressing credit problems, stretching resources, becoming a wise consumer, and developing a spending and savings plan to achieve your financial goals. The charge for the Money Management workbook is $12 for individuals or couples. This workshop will be held at the Laconia High School, 345 Union Avenue. “Don't Get Crushed By Debt - Take Charge ”
Co-Sponsored by The Community Kitchen; this workshop offers individuals and families strategies for reducing consumer debt, identifies ways to reduce the costs of borrowing, highlights the importance of working with creditors and gives attendees tips on how to establish a debt reduction plan. This workshop at The Community Kitchen, 37 Mechanic Street in Keene, will help you to recognize potential problems and decide how to solve or avoid such problems. This workshop is designed to help improve money management skills. Learn why you make the financial decisions you do, identify ways to stretch the dollars you have, strategies to reduce your debt, learn about insurance polices, and how to gain more control over your spending, develop a spending & savings plan that will allow you to achieve your financial goals. This five-session workshop will be held at the UNH Cooperative Extension Office in Boscawen, NH. The cost is $12; special funding will reimburse the cost if all 5 sessions are attended.
