NH Statewide Earned Income Tax Alliance
Suzann Knight and Valerie Long conceptualized the New Hampshire Statewide EITC Alliance in the spring of 2004. The Alliance brings partners together to strengthen EITC efforts throughout the state, facilitates development of VITA sites in areas where clientele aren't served, establishes collaborations between VITA and other AARP-related tax preparation sites, promotes best practices, initiates and maintains a statewide media campaign to inform EITC eligible residents about where they can go for free tax preparation, and generally supports community EITC efforts.
